Hello, I’m Sherry Prescott, the founder and principal designer of Lavender Fields Designs, based in Nashville, TN. I adore creating the spaces that my clients love to call home. After years of designing homes for my friends and family, I decided to pursue my passion and officially launched LFD in 2016.  

I partner with my clients—from young families to empty nesters to single professionals and more—to help them discover their style and turn the home of their dreams into a reality. With over two decades of design experience, I understand how to strike the right balance to create a space that sparks creativity and provides a sense of calm and safety. I know that when your home feels peaceful, you can tackle whatever life throws your way.

Growing up, I was creative, from crafting flower arrangements for friends to baking elegant wedding cakes. I’ve always had an intuitive sense of how to make something beautiful. When I started applying that creative know-how to interior design, something clicked, and I knew I had found my calling. 

I listen intently to the colors, patterns, shapes, and tones each client is drawn to and blend those elements with how they love to live in their home. From there, I translate it all into an elegant design. I believe your home should be a haven from the rest of the world, an oasis of calm and inspiration. But we do so much more than create a gorgeous design. Together, we’ll weave the threads of your story into your space to create a beautiful reflection of your history and a foundation for the road ahead.
